About This Site
Gothr is a website put together by Dave H when netgoth.org.uk went down.
Netgoth was a tremendous resource for the UK dark alternative scene, but sadly stopped responding in July 2007. I put this site up in October 2007 as a temporary measure, in the hope that netgoth would soon return. I’m now looking to make it a bit more permanent, and have added a map section. To succeed, of course, it really needs to be a community effort; so if your favourite event, pub, shop or club night is missing, please feel free to add it!
I’m grateful to everyone who has submitted contents for this site already. Thanks also to -=Falcon=- for creating the very original UK net.goth map and allowing me to reuse his map graphic; and also Dishmop, Sam and the countless others for the influence of netgoth.org.uk.
If you have any queries about this site, feel free to send me an email about it. Also, whilst this site doesn’t have any discussion forums, I do tend to read things posted on uk.people.gothic (NNTP; Google).
This site is 100% non-commercial, and plans to stay that way.

Help Promote Us!
We have a web banner featuring some tasty cake and a particularly cute kitten for anyone who’d like to help promote us on the Internet.
Simply take a copy of our banner and include it on your site with some HTML similar to the following:
<a title="Gothr – UK Subcultural Resources" href="http://www.gothr.org/"><img src="gothr-cake-kitten.png" width="468" height="60" style="border: 0" title="Gothr – UK Subcultural Resources" alt="Gothr banner" /></a>
Thanks.
